Dutch, Inc. also offers the Dual Packoff System. Designed for safety and time savings,
this system allows you the ability to add enough lubricator to cover the logging tool. It
is made up of three parts: the lower packoff, the upper packoff, and the pump-in sub.
Under normal circumstances only the lower packoff will be used.
The Dual Packoff System greatly enhances the safety of all personnel. It
reduces the risk of having heavy pressure control equipment at heights overhead and
reduces the risk of working with radioactive tools in close quarters.
With this system, only enough lubricator is run to get to the rig floor.
Typically, it will save at least two hours of rig time on an average open hole logging
job. Furthermore, since the cable is cleaned at the rig floor rather than 60+ feet above,
there is better polution control while logging.
